Storm Data Integration allows external data of any shape or size to be imported and exported as part of the Storm Platform.

Once integrated, external data is treated just like any other data field in Storm.

Offline data is available in all reports, allowing businesses to see a complete overview of the performance of their marketing. It can be also used to help build and implement a successful optimisation strategy.

Feeding data into Storm:

  • Update conversion data after point of sale, either through a scheduled data import or through a call to the DC Storm API
  • Remotely calling a URL to register conversions allows sale events to be triggered - both manually for offline conversions, and through external systems such as CRM platforms
  • Upload product feeds to control the display of product specific PPC ads according to available stock, and to insert price information dynamically into ad text
  • Import order margins to analyse true ROI. For example, the order margin on booking a hotel may be completely different from the order margin for booking a flight
  • Incorporate telephone orders and other offline conversion data into the overall marketing picture
  • Import pre-defined currency conversion rates effective from a future date, to convert financial values into a common currency automatically

 

Pulling data out of Storm:

  • Build bespoke reports from any of the granular data through Storm Reporting
  • Call any report that created through the Storm API for use externally
  • Export profit and loss data into an accounting package
  • Customise automated export management and performance reports to brand the look and feel
