Storm for Affiliates is a hosted technology platform from DC Storm that allows affiliates to analyse their paid search marketing activity accurately and in depth. The platform offers savvy affiliates the ability to optimise campaigns dynamically and on a micro level of granularity.
Data is extracted and synchronised from both search engines and affiliate networks, and imported into a centralised interface. Sales from networks can be linked back to an individual click and the corresponding keyword and paid search campaign. Through a combination of automated and smart optimisation, campaigns can be optimised to remove loss-making elements and boost profitable ones on a mass scale.
The software, which also enables affiliates to analyse quality score trending, bid-gap analysis, profit and EPC, has been designed to be extremely flexible, enabling affiliates to increase profits whilst reducing manpower expense significantly.
Judges were impressed with the flexibility of the software and intelligent tools which offered a solution to an ageing and unsolved problem within the sector. The software has ultimately allowed search consultants to focus more time on new campaigns and on delivering better returns for their merchants.
Particular credit was given for the ability to track each user, and not just the last click. This allows for in-depth user lifecycle and click-path analysis which gives the affiliate an invaluable insight into all contributions to their online conversions.
